When sisters Cassie and Kayla each had their first child, they wrestled with the dilemma most mothers do: how do I balance my career and my childcare? After talking to others, they discovered a huge untapped resource of similar minded, professional women who wanted to contribute to their family’s income but did not want to do so at the sacrifice of time with their kids or the added cost of outside childcare.

At that moment, Innovannd was born: a woman-owned small business that subcontracts back office tasks to a qualified, remote, efficient workforce. In our view, work is a lot like parenting: You need a team. You’re always on call (a lot of work gets done at 3am or during nap time). And you gotta love it!
